Post by: buggs1a on Saturday 07 November 2009, 12:12:26 pm
how do you enable security like content filtering to block categories and av for www and all that stuff?

how do you see bandwidth used like how much the wan has downloaded and uploaded? this is nowhere like it is in the screen shots.

this endian is not user friendly and i hope they go back to the drawing board and make it user friendly asap.

thanks guys.

Proxy->HTTP->Create access rule->Create rule with using content filtering.

Service->Traffic Monitoring and or Status->Graphs and or Main page dashboard for actual live down/up rate

this endian is not user ly and i hope they go back to the drawing board and make it user ly asap.
Oh man, you should see a command-line firewall to see what user friendly really means.
And you even dare to say to the devs to go back to the drawing board and make it more friendly, and as soon as possible. Are you f****ing serious?!?!?

I don't think it is user ly compared to having content filter and virus etc pages to enable them on interfaces. Maybe not many is going to know what to do unless they are more familiar with firewalls and stuff. I'm used to a page for av etc and just click enable. Not used to creating rules which in fact is not in any other firewall I've ever used. All others I've used you just click enable and of course you have settings etc. I've only used a few though. Also this is just my own opinion so please don't come down on me.

I am talking about bandwidth information telling you that you have downloaded on the wan 40gb this week or this month etc. Same for upload etc. I could not care less to see live info since I'm able to see my web pages load and downloads working when I'm using the pc.

That is all I mean when I say bandwidth info. I want to know the amount we've uploaded and downloaded on a day, week, month and total.

Why is the forum deleting ly? ly is not swearing or anything.  is a good word.

Endian, please fix the forum so f r i e n d is not deleted.
