Hi All,

Sorry if this has been answered before. I am running EFW 2.3 and would like to block a  of websites during particular hours of the day. Can someone please point me in the right direction on where this would get configured. I was told that EFW would be able to do this which was the real  driver for me to install this tool although I would benefit from many other features I'm sure!

Much thanks in advance...

Cheers,
Vin.

It will be a combination of access policy and A content filter.

Place the websites you want to block into a new content filter black list.

Then create a new access policy that uses that content filter, under time restriction you have to enable time restiction, then put the time that you want this policy to be in effect. Place it ahead of your normal rule.

Thanks for the recommendation. Can you please tell me where I would go and create the Blacklist and setup the policy as I don't seem to be able to find it within the regular GUI menu options.

Cheers,
Vin.

npeterson already says you how to block.

A) Create a new content filter on: Proxy->HTTP->Content filter->Add rule
This will create a new content filter. Write down a new name and press the 3rd +, named "Custom black- and whitelists"
On "Block the following sites" column, place all your blocked sites.
Save the new content filter.

B) On Proxy->HTTP->Access Policy->Add access policy
Change Access Policy to "Deny Access", change Filter profile to the new content filter created on A)
On time restriction use your desired timeline.
Position: First position
Save and thats all.
