If you enable SIP Proxy and enable 'Log Calls:', you can view information about all outgoing and incoming calls via the SIPProxy log viewer.
You will see the phone number called and the duration of the call.
I have had mine working since it was introduced and it works great.

Perhaps your settings are wrong.
There are the fields and values I have:

Enabled: YES
Transparent: YES
SIP Port: 5060
RTP Port Low: 7070
RTP Port High: 7090
Autosave Registrations: YES
Time(sec.):60
Log Calls: YES

All other fields and values unchecked and no value.

Providing the log works... i'm having horrible troubles with the logs.  The sips proxy however is great... it just never seems to log anything.
