Network Driver for "Intel 82579LM Gigabit"

Hi All,
I am trying to install Endian 2.5.1 and 2.5.2 on HP machine and it does not recognize the NIC drivers. NIC "Intel 82579LM Gigabit". Does anyone know how to install this driver on endian.

The 82579LM driver currently lacks support in a lot of open source platforms. This is because this interface is a PHY, not a NIC. I imagine eventually their will be support for it precompiled, but its better to find a board with dual or single 82574L. If this is not an option you can download the linux drivers from microsoft and compile it into the kernel, but im relativly sure it would need a fair amount of tweeking to be stable.
