Hello everybody,

I've got a problem using fixed leases in EFW 2.3 (community) and hope somebody might help me out. In the "DHCP  server"-category of the "Services" menu I've set up about 30 fixed leases. EFW is set up for using DHCP for all 3 three zones (GREEN, ORANGE, BLUE).

The problem is that every now and then I get complaints from users that Windows is throwing an IP Conflict. The strange thing is, that those users already received the fixed IP address some time earlier. For example, I once had the situation that I'd been working for some hours on my PC, then needed to make a reboot and suddenly received an IP-conflict, although my assigned IP-address 5 minutes before was the one from the current-fixed-lease-list. It sounds strange, but it really makes the impression that my PC is competing for the IP-address which should be assigned to it because of the fixed lease entry.

The only solution for this problem is that i kick out the fixed-lease for my PC from the list, receive an IP-address from the DHCP and the re-enter my fixed lease (or just reactivate the rule). But that still does not mean that the problem won't occure some time later.

Another solution was to just work with the "Allow only fixed leases" option in each of the DHCP interface settings. But the next strange thing here is that when I activate the aforesaid option e.g. for the GREEN zone, suddenly all interface are set to work with this option. But i need the BLUE interface to be run in DHCP mode WITHOUT fixed leases.

Can anybody confirm those problems to be known bugs? Or might somebody even have a solution for those problems?

Thank you very much for your efforts.

P.S.: Please let me know, if you need further information about my setup.
