Hi i have experience and it works fine...
Im just now solving issue about not working proxy but it could be different issue.
I Have ESX 5.0 (not 5.1) but it should be the same.

I just installed 3.0 on a Vmware 5.1 ESXi box. Ran for a few days and locked up. Console only showed a black screen.
Anyone else seen this? Not feeling confident on this. I have an older 2.4 running on a ESXi 5.1 box and it does fine.
