Title: Avast won't update behind Endian Post by: Galas on Friday 18 February 2011, 07:15:47 am Hi everyone,
This is my first post, i've been using endian for about a year and a half on three different boxes. Firewall - HTTPProxy - Content Filtering are active Since 10/02/2011 The win-xp machines behind endian didn't updated anymore. They return an error " another HTTP error 403 " If I bypass the transparent proxy updates correctly.. any ideas? Thanks in advance! Cheers Title: Re: Avast won't update behind Endian Post by: pamoedo on Friday 25 February 2011, 02:35:23 am Hi Galas, i have the same problem for weeks, finally i solved it changing acess policy rule on "HTTP Proxy: Policy" configuration tab.
Edit your "filter using content" rule and uncheck all useragents, this should be enough. Make sure no authorization is required. The 403 error is access is forbidden. You must have created a policy that won't allow access to the avast update site.
