Hi, new to Endian, just installed, I did the setup via https, but now i cant log in via the web interface, its saying 401 authorization required.
Ive tried looking through the support docs and also googling.

Im using Seven, XP, IE8, Chrome, nothing is working.

A 401 error usually means that you have the wrong credentials.  Are you using 2.2 or 2.3RC1?  I suspect this may simply be a miss-configuration on the Endian box.  What username are you using to log in?

Hi,

I tried, admin, Admin, administrator, Administrator, root, Root, domain with administrator, pc name with administrator, and so on.

Im using 2.2.

I know I have to use the password I set in setup, but it doesnt work, I have tried reinstalling several times.

I have a fair knowledge of what im doing pc wise (I work in IT support), just not endian wise.

Thanks

Tom

use the command line as below (on the endian pc)
htpasswd /var/efw/auth/users admin <enter>
then follow the insturctions.
