Hey there,

I am using the Endian v. 2.2 and like it a lot. There is one problem I have, though, and it's really bothering me a lot:
I can't access the admin-interface from my blue (wireless) network. No problem from green (which is 192.168.1.1:10443), but I can't figure out how to get there from the blue (should be 192.168.2.1:10443). I always get a "403 - Forbidden" Error message.

I tried disabling the zone-firewall, but it wouldn't work. I have the Hotspot module activated (maybe that has something to do with it?).

It would be great if somebody could me with this.

Thank you!

PS: I even created a rule in Firewall > System access that reads:

Source address:
<ANY>

Source interface:
ANY
GREEN
BLUE
RED
Uplink main
Interface 1
VPN ANY
VPN IPSEC

Service:
TCP+UDP/0:65535

Policy:
ALLOW

My understanding is, that this rule opens up pretty much anything. But 192.168.2.1:10443 still returns a "403 - Forbidden".
Thanks for help!

In v2.2 RC1 do the Foolowing to access the Endian Administration Web.
Connect to the your green endian ip (192.168.1.1) while you are connect to the Green as well.

Log into your endian firewall.

Select "Firewall" from the top menu
once selected you will see a list menu on the left side.
there is one called "system access"  the Bottom one on the menu.
then click "Add a new system access rule"

at this poin t you will need to enter ion the IP address of your "blue"
If using dhcp and the ip address will change the use the mac address of the nic that is blue.

leave "service" and "Protocol" as "<any>" untill you are ready to lock it down more

This should do it  Roll Eyes
