Hi,
Testing port forwarding and it works as intended, but wonder about the default(?) rule?
Please see attachment for details (marked with red arrow).
Anyone know what it does? Is it set by default? What happens if removed?

It is part of the rule you have created. An inbound connection from 'any' source to your internet connection ip and specified port will be allowed, unless blocked by IPS rules, and forwarded to your lan ip as specified
