Apache Mod SSI

I was wondering if anybody had any experience installing the apache mod for server side include into the software and configuring the http.config for allowing server side include. As I have all ready made a virtual host and small site for storing my network information, but Id like to be able to use server side include to echo some text files. Can anybody help me?
