Title: dns server on EFW 2.2 community Post by: pisipoleng on Wednesday 10 June 2009, 02:12:39 am Hello!
I've been using EFW for a while and the satisfaction rate is 99% :) but... I have 2 domains which DNS server should reside on my firewall. EFW only supports dnsproxy to public services. Is it possible to install BIND on EFW and start DNS server on my firewall? Go to: Proxy => DNS => Custom nameserver Then click 'Add new custom nameserver for a domain' Title: Re: dns server on EFW 2.2 community Post by: pisipoleng on Wednesday 10 June 2009, 02:53:20 pm it's not the same thing. there I can tell that domain.org resides on that IP but I can't tell this domains A, CNAME or MX records

But i think an easier solution would be to throw up a old server with linux on it and host dns on that, then throw that up on your dmz or just port forward internal.
