Is it possible to allow a program through on all ports in endian?

Thanks

I presume you mean like allow "xyz.exe" from "Computer1" to use any port? As the windows firewall allows you to do?
Also, which way are you talking about? Incoming or Outgoing connections?

AFAIK this is not possible, as the endian does not have a way of knowing which program the data has come from (unless its a web browser). - However, You can allow a specific IP/MAC address access to every port.

Hi,

I think I need both incoming and outgoing, im trying to get Steam to work with endian, ive added exceptions to ports but Steam isnt showing all my games. Ive looked around the net and apparently its because Steam needs access to all the ports?!

Thanks

Hi,

This works fine with steam.

The following ports must be open in your firewall and router for Steam and Steam Games to work:

UDP 1200    (used for s service)
UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive
TCP 27020 to 27039 inclusive
TCP 27040 and 27041 only for CyberCafe Owners

Computers running Dedicated Servers need these ports open:

UDP: 27015 and 27020 (default HLDS, SRCDS and HLTV port)
TCP: 27015 (SRCDS Rcon port)

Best reg,

PS.  To clearify, you need to forward those ports from red to your internal green (steam) computer (IP adress of computer internally)

Yep,

I have steam fully working with the following Outgoing ports open
GREEN  >   RED  UDP/27000:27015
GREEN  >   RED    TCP/27020:27039,   TCP/27015

You dont need any incoming unless you host a Server

Are you guys sure?

Because in steam, the only games that are showing are Valve games, and games like ut3 dont show?
They are showing ok if i try steam on another network?
I had alreay opened the mentioned ports, didnt work.
Help?

Thanks

It didnt connect for me at first, but I added those two exeptions to my outgoing firewall, and it works fine now.
I have a load of games from ID and other providers as well as Valve, and they all work ok.

Do you have the HTTP Proxy enabled?

Yep the Green / Interface 1 is normal, Its incase you have more than one Network Adaptor on the Green network, you can choose if the rule affects both etc..

I dont currently use the proxy, and cant rememer why I added them, but in the Allowed ports under the proxy settings I had the range 1025-65535 - Might be worth a try, and if it works then you can drill down this range to the steam ports, rather than leaving them all open.

Alternativley the easier way is to try connecting with the proxy temporarily disabled.
