Title: HTTP proxy. Can't block any website Post by: anastasija on Thursday 19 March 2015, 02:54:54 am Hello, I have Endian Firewall (Community version 3.0).
Unfortunately, I cannot block any website. I have tried many options. Last time I did the following: I set proxy to non-transparent, write rule for IP or zones (green zone) and as destination write domain (for example, .facebook.com) or IP of the sites which I want to block but it doesn't work. Choose "deny" access. I followed this tutorial - help.endian.com/entries/21601411-How-to-block-facebook-or-other-HTTPS-websites - first option. By the way, I also tried the second one, but it didn't work, too. I write these rules for all users or for domain users, it doesn't matters. I put this rule for the first position but nothing happens. I have set the proxy on the client side, too. I set the Endian Firewall IP address and port 8080 in LAN settings in browser (on the client side). I also tried web filtering to block sites by their content but it doesn't work, too. I can't block them. What should I do? Am I doing something wrong? Title: Re: HTTP proxy.
