rewriting configuration file

i added some configurations in squid and dansguardian but after restart the configurations overwritten, is there any options??? i need to block MIME types but its not working fine with squid MIME block blocking with danns is perfect but in Endian there is no option for block file types.

change templates (.conf.tmpl), no config files

in the case of squid editing template files working but in the case of dansguardian profiles its not working
