Hello, i've been using Endian for mostly 1 year, and pf-sense for like 10 months..
i've noticed that flexibility of pf-sense, some packages like 'IMSpecotr' and 'rate' comes so much in handy when you have Bas!#$% at work.
is there any package like rate in pf sense ? that can give you live monitoring of bandwidth for individual users, so you can check who is sucking the bandwidth ?
how to install and use IMSpector on Endian 2.3 ?
*some other features is that blocking DNS in such a way of someone is querying for some websites, i guess this option is listed in pf sense, when you fake that DNS in the firewall it self, and resolve it as an IP that you give, thus blocking the user from entering that website..
for example in hotspot shield i've seen in wireshark that hotspot shield program asks for DNS for a of DNS names, I've blacklisted those DNS names in http proxy, but didn't work, but when i denied their corresponding IP's in firewall, hotspot shield stopped working
