You're Doing it Wrong

« on: Friday 09 January 2009, 08:27:42 am »

I have endian running and so far everything is great for the green connection, however when I plugged in my wap54g access point into the blue zone. I can't establish a connection. Has anyone had a similar problem with access points? If anyone has a successful install please let me know the make and model of the AP, I'm not below buying a new one.

Oh and I also checked arp and endian isn't even seeing the MAC of the AP.

Thanks for the help

I have green, blue and orange setup.

My Blue connects to a wireless ADSL modem. All its being used for is as a wireless access.

I've disabled everything on the modem and set it to bridge mode. That is, DHCP , FW etc
Just set the IP address of the Blue interface. Enable DHCP on the Blue interface and you
should be set to go.

I have the exact same modem and it support bridge mode.

Regards
