I have been using Endian 2.1 with no issues with a VoIP phone system and SIP Trunks. As soon as I try the same setup with endian 2.3 or 2.4 I cannot for the life of me get it to work correctly and end up with outbound audio only and no inbound. Iv configured the Port forwarding exactly the same as on my 2.1 box but there are changes to this interface in 2.3 and 2.4. What am I missing?

Just to add to the above post iv now had a chance to do further testing after managing to get the Firewall logs working with the updated ULOG package and the logs are showing that the Port Forward is working for port 5060 however it still doesnt seem to end up on the VoIP server as an external port check shows the port isnt reponding. If I change the rule for port 5060 in endian to port 25 and forward to a mail server however this than works. Is there anything within Endian that would overide port forwarding rules for certain port numbers (other than SIP proxy which is disabled). Hoping someone can shed some more light on the subject.

Isn't SIP UDP? If your SMTP connection worked, you must have a TCP rule defined? Check your protocol settings in the rule.
