Hi,

I've installed Endian Community 2.4 on a HP server with 8GB, but Endian only is showing 4GB.

How can I enable de 8GB of RAM?

Best regards,

It's a production firewall? Try before on a test server

Changing kernel to PAE:

efw-upgrade
then reboot
smart install kernel-PAE
reboot
efw-upgrade just to make sure

hi mrkroket
thanks for the suggestion, but with smart install kernel-PAE I get:

error: 'kernel-PAE' matches no packages. Suggestions:
error:     kernel-3:2.6.32.43-57.e48@i586
error:     kernel-3:2.6.32.43-57.e51@i586

Do I have to choose the second one, kernel-3:2.6.32.43-57.e51@i586 ?

many thanks

I forgot, I have EFW 3 with 2.6 kernel, and really don't know why it shows just 3GB RAM of 8 available
