Title: Enabling Console redirection for Install Post by: maxim on Wednesday 03 September 2008, 03:17:05 am Is it possible to modify the kernel append to change the console to ttyS0 so that installation is possilbe on a system that has no video?

Specifically i'm curious about how the installer application will find the needed package files to install. Typical methods are FTP, HTTP, NFS, Local Disk, and CD. RHEL's installer, Anaconda has these options and presents them to the user when the CD option is not available.
