I am in desperate need of some assistance, I have a new System built and need it to boot to and run the system from a usb Memory stick , can any of you Help, I get through the Grub and it kernel panics when loading EFW? please let me know if I can do this? thanks Dave Title: Re: Installing a Diskless system Post by: dwcoleman on Monday 15 June 2009, 01:10:18 pm Actually, I want to do the same thing. I tried today with an internal sata ssd and got a kernel error. Of course I was using a desktop with an Asus P5Q board and there are issues. In fact I could not install the Endian software with a sata drive and had to replace it with an IDE. Here is an idea perhaps an IDE flash drive might work.
