Title: Verizon FIOS Unable to get IP Post by: Aurien on Sunday 16 October 2011, 08:51:46 pm The box I'm using was running SmoothWall and decided to give Endian a try. Problem is I can't get an IP. Now if I hook the red into another router with DHCP running it grabs the IP no problem. I've reset the ONT several times so it's releasing the MAC address reservation.
Title: Re: Verizon FIOS Unable to get IP Post by: Aurien on Tuesday 18 October 2011, 06:49:18 pm Figured it out. Some reason power cycling the ONT wasn't releasing my MAC reservation with Verizon. I had to have them do it for me. What's weird is that power cycling the ONT had worked before.
