Title: Version Confusion Post by: echoDreamz on Friday 06 March 2009, 03:11:47 am I see that v2.2 is still in RC stage after a year, The changelog mentions v2.3... Where is this at? Is there any reason to use v2.2 even though its in RC stage or should I stick to v2.1?

Looking at the changelog and roadmap (and this is my personal opinion) I wouldn't be surprised if version 2.2 was skipped in favour of a release of 2.3 - but don't quote me on that. ;D To answer your other question, I've been using the 2.2RC3 release for a while without problems but (as always in these circumstances) your mileage may vary.
If you ask these questions on the EFW mailing list you may get an answer from one of the developers. There's been nothing new for a while :( Same as with IPCOP.
