VPN Connectivity issue, Using VMware/Virtualbox

Hey guys,
I've been beating my against this problem for 2 days now. I figured I would share what i have learned, maybe to some developing headaches.
If you are running EFW as a virtual machine, YOU MUST ENABLE PROMISCUOUS MODE on your NIC's to have full connectivity to your hosts behind the firewall.
In my case I could connect to the VPN, and configure the firewall. But I could never connect to the servers behind the firewall. I had to contact my datacenter and request that our LAN be set to promiscuous. After the change, I was able to rdp, ping, tracert, etc...
Just for thought, if any of you are struggling.
