Hi,

I am trying to install Endian 2.5.1 on Cisco Cisco UCS C220 M3 Server with RAID Controller UCSC SAS 2008M-8i,LSI SAS 9266-8i 8. But installation of Endian is unable to detect the array and hence finds no hard disk. Is there anyway that how I can install the controller so that installation proceeds. I tried ALT+F3 and then ran the command "modprobe cpqarray" which I know is for compaq raid controller but no success.

If any of you have an idea?

Now this what I have done. I installed VMWare hypervisor which is free. It detects all the hardware configuration. It detects the RAID without any issues. I then created a virtual machine on it and installed Endian 2.5.1.

May be it is helpful to others..
