endian to endian VPN - does it work?

As the subject states, I want to build out a small office to my colo VPN rather than the current IPtables solution.  Basically I am trying to see both if this is supported and if so, how easy is the setup?

I will try to roll this out in the next few day's to the local first and before I start this want to make sure it will be able to support this
