Hi everyone,
I just tried to connect my local net via ipsec to a cisco asa.
However, the error log shows that there's a basic problem, before even trying to connect:
Apr 26 11:52:26 efw-1279620117 ipsec_setup: KLIPS debug `none'
Apr 26 11:52:26 efw-1279620117 kernel: [5433181.098379]
Apr 26 11:52:26 efw-1279620117 ipsec_setup: ppp0: error fetching interface information: Device not found
Apr 26 11:52:26 efw-1279620117 ipsec_setup: unable to determine address of `ppp0'
I have tried lots of googling but it seems, no one else has that problem ;-)
in /etc/ipsec/ipsec.conf I see something llike "interfaces="ipsec0=ppp0". I wonder, if this is correct.
Does anyone have an idea where to look?
Greetings
Thomas
P.S.: I found it myself, another tunnel caused a wrong configuration
