Title: QoS - 502 Proxy Error Post by: okoenigs on Thursday 12 November 2009, 11:40:06 pm After Upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3 with restore of an Backup i get the following error when i click on the Quality of Service Menu:
Quote Proxy Error The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server. The proxy server could not handle the request GET /manage/qos/devices. Reason: Could not connect to remote machine: Connection refused Is therefor an workaround? Thanks Title: Re: QoS - 502 Proxy Error Post by: billgrava on Saturday 28 November 2009, 08:13:19 am It seems en entire cgi directory (manage) gets misplaced during an upgrade from 2.2. QOS isn't the only thing affected. System Event Notifications, Viewing/editing SNORT rules, examining firewall diagrams, and exploring http ad join also are among features that generate an error caused by not being able to GET /manage/{something}

I had initially implemented sarabanjina's fix (http://efwsupport.com/index.php?topic=1013.0) to get the GUI up after loading in the 2.2 backup. I suspect a /etc/init.d/httpd reload would have cleaned this up,
I definitely will be shaking this around a lot before installing it in the home office's production network, because of the rocky upgrade path. Ignoring that reservation, however, so far I like what I see with 2.3. --bill |
