I think the Endian team has got to explain the failures with the upgrade possibility first before I'll try the 2.4.1 version. Untill that moment I'll stick with the 2.4.

EFW 2.4, E5400, 1GB DDR2, 160 GB, 3x100 Mb LAN (Realtek)

P.S. - For me, looking at bugs.endian.com/roadmap_page.php where v2.4.1 is only at 61%, endian TEST the bugs with/on us...

Has anyone tried that ISO install of 2.4.1 that was having kernel panics with the upgrade. I got the kernel panic when I tried the upgrade. I'm hoping somebody has tried before I waste my time with the ISO. Thanks!

Hi. At least for me, installing from scratch using v2.4.1 ISO is working!
Previously, upgrading from v2.4 using efw-upgrade i get kernel panic (maybe repository is not up to date...)
Now, looking for bugs  Roll Eyes

I've noticed the same problem when submitting HTTP proxy changes. After applying the changes it will hang on "Proxy settings are being applied. Please hold...." I have let it set for quite some time.

Another issue I've seen occasionally is IE doesn't display pictures for me, as if they can't be downloaded. The page loads, but no pictures, icons, graphics, etc. will load. I can't say without a doubt that this related to upgrading to 2.4.1. However, the problem didn't exist previously. Now, on the the other hand, I have hundreds of users and I have not been told that anybody else is having problems.

The actual upgrade (efw-upgrade) process worked perfectly.

I'm running a Dell PowerEdge 1850 with dual Xeons 2.8 GHz, 4 GB RAM, mirrored (RAID 1) 146 GB 15K SCSI drives with three NICs connected, one of which links to a gigabit fiber pipe for the red network.

The installation of Endian 2.4.1 I made from scratch, but has not made changes to the proxy, just leave the proxy settings get a message "The proxy settings are being applied. Please wait" and never ends

I have also had problems with POP and SMTP settings are not activated spamassassin services, e-mail stay in both input as they output. to avoid this problem simply does not use and do forwarding firewall ports 110 and 25.
