Hi,

I have the following setup in a Hyper-V:

EFW 3.3.15 = Public IP
EFW 3.3.15 LAN = 192.168.110.1 (DHCP 192.168.110.0/24)
RRAS LAN = 192.168.110.15
RRAS VPN Server = 192.168.120.1 (Static Pool 192.168.120.0/24)
VPN Client = 192.168.120.2

I cannot reach the 192.168.110.0/24 network once i connect via VPN (i can get to the RRAS & Internet and that's it). I searched in many places, enabled Promiscuous mode on the Internal vSwitch, Disabled BADTCP drop in EFW, added a static route in EFW so it will know to send comms for 192.168.120.0/24 to 192.168.110.15 (via web interface and also ssh). Maybe I'm not putting it where it should be via SSH, my Linux knowledge is severely lacking, so trial & error was the way so far, but I'm about to give up on this. I've got to the point where I'm putting routes in VPNClient/RRAS/EFW that don't make sense even to me, just to see if anything changes.

If anyone has the knowledge and patience to explain in an idiot-proof way how such a setup should be configured i would be in his/her .

Thanks.

Hi, does it also happen to you that the firewall restarts several times even in one day for no reason? It's not an electrical problem. Could it be because of a link that is often offline?

Endian version 3.3.16, 3.3.17, 3.3.19.

Hi I am running EF 3.3.2 in my Dashboard under Updates I am showing
"Updates on this system have been activated successfully."

I think its the current version though out of curiosity tried a efw-upgrade (In the shell prompt) and sure enough it didn't find any new packages though does give the error
error: Failed acquiring release file for 'efw-community':
error: h t t p://(MY CORRECT %40 EMAIL):community@updates.endian.org/3.2/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno -2] Name or service not known

Is this normal? Thanks.

Hello,
on my endian i configured OpenVPN server and 2 IpSec VPn with 2 remote sites.
My question is if it is possible to make users connected on openvpn reach remote ipsec networks.
Thank you.

Why do you think it doesn't support 2.5G network card? Many new MINI PCs have Intel I225 network cards and unfortunately I bought one and in fact Debian doesn't see any network cards! I tried to install release 3.3.18 do you think the Debian version of EFW is too "old"?

Hello Endian developers

are there plans for Endian to support OpenVPN obfs2 or other obfuscation methods ?

I know this is available on Linux OpenVPN but I was wondering if Endian might have it in their firewall too

cheers

Good morning everyone,
for years I have always used EFW on miniPC with Intel J1900 CPU and 4 Intel 1Gb NIC ports. Now I bought a miniPC with Intel J4125 CPU and 6 Intel 2.5Gb NIC ports (type i225-V b3). I installed EFW 3.3.15 without problems, but EFW doesn't see any NIC!!!  Embarrassed
Does anyone know if it is necessary to load some specific Drivers for these new NIC and where to download them? And maybe how to load them into EFW (I'm not familiar with Linux...).

Thank you.  Smiley
