I have a client who uses endian 2.3 and i have an ipsec vpn with him. I currently use IPCop (i'lll change that in the near future). I have a working VPN but i can't browse his network, can't use remote desktop with him. Is there a special port or some settings i have to do with his firewall?

Please help, thanks

I put a rule in the outgoing firewall to let SMB packets out but still i cannot access the remote network. Does anyone else have this problem? Am i doing something wrong? Or am i not doing something? Some help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Nobody? No solutions?

I'll have to go back to EFW 2.2 RC3...

The samba firewall rule(s) are only important for file sharing, netbios, etc.

For RDC (remote desktop connection) you need to open port 3389 from a VPN Zone to the green on port 3389. That is the only port you should need.

Then, make sure you have name resolution for your client names.  Its much easier to find the right client connection if they're saved with names rather than IPs. Then you should be up and running  Smiley
