Hi everyone,

This is my first post, i've been using endian for about a year and a half on three different boxes.

Firewall - HTTPProxy - Content Filtering are active

Since 10/02/2011 The win-xp machines behind endian didn't updated anymore.

They return an error " another HTTP error 403 "

If I bypass the transparent proxy updates correctly.. any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
Cheers

Hi Galas, i have the same problem for weeks, finally i solved it changing acess policy rule on "HTTP Proxy: Policy" configuration tab.
Edit your "filter using content" rule and uncheck all useragents, this should be enough.

Greetings

You will have to create a access policy so that all clients can access the avast update site and put it it first in the list. Make sure no authorization is required. The 403 error is access is forbidden. You must have created a policy that won't allow access to the avast update site.

For some reason having avast.com on the whitelist didn't work. I added .avast.com and now is working

Thanks for your help!
