110 Connection timeout

I am having some problem with the following site at work, I am getting (110) Connection timed out. Endian community 2.51
I tried turn off the http proxy, but still having the same error. Site is alive, I have no problem connect to it at home
Is there a way to change the connection timeout setting? Seems like it returns this error after 10sec, if there is a way to extend it to 30sec maybe it will work? I am not too sure.

This error is occuring due proxy i believe. But as you said even turning proxy off does not help then try to trace route the web address from work and from home. Sometimes BGP routing issues at service provider cause this. See if the site is reachable (ping/traceroute) from work...
