Hi all.I have setup endian firewall 2.4 version.I have also setup transparent proxy with content filtering.Everything is working fine except the fact I can not update any antivirus trough proxy.I have tried all,opening ports on firewall,adding new firewall rule(position 1) which allows all interfaces to acces to IP of antivirus servers,adding web address of update servers to allowed webpages(whitelist).I have tried with all antivirus (nod32,kaspersky,avast )but it is not working.
Is there anyway to solve this problem?
Thank you and best regards.

Hi.......

Clamav is used as the virus scanner engine in Endian. So what I did is that setup a script to manually update the clamav database.
Follow the following steps;

1. Download the attached tgz file.

2. Uncompress the file and edit the file "clamav-unofficial-sigs.conf" in it.
     In the bottom of the file there is a line call "user_configuration_complete="no" make it "yes"

3. Copy "clamav-unofficial-sigs.conf" file to /etc/ directory.

4. Now simply run the bash script clamav-unofficial-sigs.sh
    This will update the clam database.

5. Enable a cron job to automate this.
