[dansguardian] How do I change the ReportingLevel value?

Hi there! My first post here. I've just installed endian on a test box and it seems to be a great piece of software!!
What I want to do is to change the Reportinglevel value inside dansguardian.conf. in other words I want to log user's traffic without blocking it so I should change the value from 3 to -1 . I already did this but after a reboot or an update to some rules, it is set back to the original value.
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance

Make the change in the dansgaurdian.conf.tmpl
Config files get generated on updates and reboots. The scripts that create the config files use the .tmpl files to generate the final configuration.
