Having a slight issue with getting the mail to flow through the box.

Have set-up the SMTP Proxy as normal, but mail is not flowing.

DASHBOARD reports SMTP Proxy as OFF.

Proxy - SMTP proxy:
Configuration
Enable SMTP Proxy - Green
GREEN & ORANGE set to transparent mode, RED set to active.
Incoming Domains
these have been added
Advanced
Mail Server Settings
added the SMTP HELO name even tried putting the RED IP address to see if that would help.
What I would like to do is to jump down to the command prompt and try manually stopping and starting the service, but I don't know the commands  Smiley

I have re-installed a number of times.

One issue that I have when installing is that it reports that it is unable to eject the CD rom when it has finished.

I re-installed 2.4.1 and it doesn't have a problem with this.

Hopefully someone can help I would like to get 2.5.1 up and running properly.

Many Thanks.

Just installed again on an IDE hard drive, same issue.
I note that under STATUS the Mail queue shows "The SMTP proxy is currently disabled. Therefore no information is available"

Double check that antivirus update has been run and has definition files along with sa-update from console.  SMTP proxy does not start unless spamassassin rules have been downloaded (are not installed with initial system install).  Restart smtp proxy afterward.

Try this command /usr/local/bin/restartsmtpscan. I haven't tried it but might be working Huh

I checked it through /home/httpd/cgi-bin/smtpconfig.cgi. You can also see :-)
