Title: Endian Firewall with (2) Sangoma S518 ADSL Modems
Post by: warrenweiss on Wednesday 25 February 2009, 08:59:19 pm
I am attempting to build a load-balancing firewall with two Sangoma ADSL internal modems.

I am compiling the drivers and utilities on a CentOS 5.2 box, then building an RPM.

When I attempt to install the RPM:

# rpm -i --force wanpipe-2.6.18-92.1.22.el5-3.3.15-0.i686.rpm

I get the error:

error: Failed dependencies:
     rtld(GNU_HASH) is needed by wanpipe-2.6.18-92.1.22.el5-3.3.15-0.i686

The usual fix is to build it on the target system, but Endian, of course, does not have the necessary build environment (AFAIK).

Can anyone suggest a better build platform, perhaps?  Or some other alternative.
