2.3 HTTP Proxy problem

Hi,  I am Daniel
and i would like to fix this problem : On a box with 2.3 I have enabled HTTP Proxy, and all is ok.
I'am trying to stop HTTP PRoxy now, but when i do that, Surfing the web  result impossible.
Mail, VPN's, etc... works fine.... I have tried to stop "manually" the services :
 - havp
 - squid

But not surfing. DNS resolving from clients is ok.... Any ideas ?
