Couldn't be too hard I would think.

Have a second ENDIAN box configured and  with a different IP address (green).  It does pings every 10 seconds to the primary ENDIAN box.  If it doesn't get a response back, it changes the green IP to the live server's IP and Internet still keeps flowing.

Anyone done this?

No need to manually setup something like that.  Endian has an option "High Availability" for such a setup.  The Endian documentation has a nice easy to follow guide on setting up the high availability option.
