Why does the event notifications not report things like blocked internet connections or blocked content filtering or Intrusion Anomalies...

Don't get me wrong I like to know when the uplinks are active after a reboot, but what if I want to know if lil' Johnny it going to bigbottyxxx.net or if traffic from Asia-pac is being block (Hope I didnt offend anyone...that was not the intent). If I am missing something in the config settings, please advise but I am fairly sure I have all the stuff I want to see (at least in terms of logs..active).

Any wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I have been surprised too, that there is no possibility to create custom rules for event notifications. What about IDS (or IPS if something have been blocked) events notification!? Antivirus, updates, logons, backups - about all these events notices should come immediately when happend.
