Hello, I installed Endian v2.2rc-1 in VMware Fusion on a Mac Book Pro laptop.  The installation was successful but I am having difficulty accessing the VM with the Safari browser.  I am not sure what I need to do to configure this correctly.  I only have 2 network ports .. 802.11G WiFi and Ethernet.  I am only interested in testing the new version out.  Not putting it into service for the network.

If anyone has suggestions I would be very grateful for the help.

Hi

I did the following, when i was testing some weeks ago:
1) Install 2.2RC1 with one (1) NAT interface (the rest was standard fustion settings..).
2) Gave the Green Interface the adress f.ex. 172.16.0.1/255.255.0.0. in the console-setup.
3) Install finishes - then reboots.
4) I then fired up an allready configured win-vm system, also NAT, and gave it a 172.16.0.10/255.255.0.0 IP
5) Was able to ping 172.16.0.1 - fine
6) power off the efw-vm, add another interface, which is connected diretly to lan (this will be the red on efw...)
7) power on the efw-vm
8:) wait, until it's up and running, i will display the link to the admin-web-gui (https://172.16.0.1:10443 in this case)
9) open a browser in the win-vm and open the link (see point eight) - may take some seconds.
10) finish the setup through web-gui (eg. nic configured unter 6 will be red).
11) Have fun!

if you do not have a win-vm, you can download a browser-appliance on vmware-appliances place: http://www.vmware.com/appliances/
