Title: [SOLVED] IPSEC Net2Net not working with Hostname Post by: eighty2scrambler on Tuesday 01 May 2012, 01:35:53 am Have two networks connected via IPSEC net to net. However network A has a Static Public IP, network B has a Dynamic public IP. I set up DYNDNS.org account and updated the server.
Problem is it will not establish a connection when the hostname is in the "Remote Host/IP" field. DNS servers have updated the hostname with correct IP. As soon as I type IP back in manually, connection comes up Any thoughts? Found out what LocalID and RemoteID are used for in IPSEC tunnels now :) Thanks to a more experienced poster.
