When using OpenVPN and setting up the user accounts there is the option 'Direct all client traffic through the VPN server:'. My understanding is that this will disable split-tunnel vpn but i have no such luck.
Anybody else have this problem? Solution?

Found the problem.
Need to run the client with administrator rights in Windows 7. otherwise the routes cannot be added.
