I've a problem with Proxy and Domain User Authentication.

I've installed EFW 2.4.0 and if I use Proxy and Local Authentication is all OK. If I try to use Windows Active Directory (NTLM) authentication I have a problem to join domain.

My Windows Server is:
Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2
Full Computer Name: server2003.posta.local
Domain: posta.local

I've set this parameter on Endian:
Domain name: posta and also posta.local
Hostname PDC Server: server2003 and also server203.posta.local
Ip address PDC Server: 192.168.1.55

Then I push on Join Domain, insert the correct Windows 2003 Server Administrator's username and password but I've this error:
Failed to join domain: Invalid configuration and configuration modification was not requested

I've read that the problem could be the different time on Server and on Endian, but are the same.
I've read that the problem was only with EFW 2.3, but I've same problem also with 2.4.

Can someone help me??

Thank you very much..

Try this:

Authentication Realm *: posta.local
Domainname of AD server * : posta
PDC hostname of AD server * : server2003
PDC ip address of AD server * : 192.168.1.55

Then save, and join AD and you are good to go!

If it wont work, try reboot. But it is the way i have my configuration and it works.

Thank you for your post.
Already this morning I was succesfully joined domain, but I've to insert also "posta.local" in "Domainname of AD server "

Anyway thank you very much!!
