Problems with dnsmasq (and dnssec?)

Hi
I have a problem on my efw community 2.5 firewall
I am trying to build a new internal server using Ispconfig 3 on CentOS 6
I need to access some material from dl.fedoraproject.org.
Unfotunately this hostname resolves to 127.0.0.1 (I think this may be something to do with DNSSEC)
If I turn OFF transparent proxy on efw and set dns to 8.8.8.8 on the centOS server then all seems ok.
Is there a fix or config change I can make that will allow me to keep tranaprent proxy set ON?
I need transparent proxy to resolve some other local machines.
TIA
DFen
