QoS is complex to setup. Basically to get QoS to work correctly you have to have all your network using QoS. Your clients, switches, and other network network devices must use QoS. QoS has its own problems and unless you really nead QoS you are better of not implementing it.

hi all,
I am too facing the same problem, the QOS does not work on the endian firewall. Please help provide me the right steps to configure the same.
ENDIAN 2.5.1 (Comunity edition)
SET A Users 25 users (192.168.0.5 - 192.168.0.30) internet speed should be 512 kbps
SET B Users 5 users (192.168.0.40 -192.168.0.45) internet speed unlimited.
I had read some forums people getting error most browsers while creating the rules in QOS except firefox.
Also the class total should be 100% ( i am not sure if creating classes with fixed kbps seconds what to do)
I am new to endian and firewall setup. (reserverd vs limit in QOS classes)
Please help thank you.

Is there a confirmed problem about QoS in 2.5.1? I can't find info about this...nor I can make QoS works.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Do you know of some Wiki/Howto on the subject? The official documentation is quite...insufficient
Thanks!

I also encountered similar experiences in EFW 2.5.1.
I also found the bug ID 0002675 , reported for EFW 2.3, but I cannot understand if it is solved in following releases or not.
By the other hand I'd like to find a sample working configuration for QOS by the support team.
