Title: HTTP Proxy NCSA authentication problem Post by: Murci3lago on Friday 07 October 2011, 09:26:59 am Hello everyone,
I have a problem with the NCSA authentication using the HTTP proxy, as I had some errors using the content filters (read error, etc.) I decided to deny some sites like facebook, youtube, ect. using only access rules this way (see the screenshot). The first rule is to allow some users access the web sites only with the NCSA authentication, the second rule is to deny all others users that doesn't have login and password. Everything is working fine except when users access to Gmail, the proxy asks them for the NCSA login and password. Pressing the cancel button and they can access to it but I don't understand why. I am doing it correctly? In the enterprise network they are using AD win server 2003, do you think it's better to use the Win active directory auth? Thanks in advance for your help, Title: Re: HTTP Proxy NCSA authentication problem Post by: Manrique on Tuesday 13 December 2011, 05:25:15 am Can you help me in the configuration of proxy http non-transparent manner?
