I'm happy to release my first mod for EFW.

Traffic Statistics provides a summary page of the bandwidth usage of each interface for several time periods:

You can download it from here: skynet-solutions.net/mods/efw/trafficstats.tgz

If you aren't logged in to the forums, you can see a screenshot here: skynet-solutions.net/mods/efw/trafficstats.png

You'll have to SCP it over to your EFW, uncompress it, change to the trafficstats directory, and then run install.sh.

It has been tested on EFW Versions 2.3, 2.4, & 2.4.1

May you explain shortly where these informations are collected?
May the statistics be updated by pressing the submit button?

Thanks.
Davide.

The statistics are updated hourly using ipacsum and stored in a log file in the /var/log directory. All submit does is update either the interface shown or the time period.

Hi all,

Thanks for this, just what I needed! I have to keep track of usage caps and this does it perfectly!

Works on Endian 2.5.1 no problem.

Thanks for this great mod!  Also confirmed that it works out of the box on 2.5.1.

I made a small change to trafficstats.cgi so that it also reports Terabytes.  Change line 33 to:

  my @args = qw/B KB MB GB TB/;

(I suppose you could add " PB" at the end, too, to show PetaBytes, but I'm definitely a long ways away from that kind of traffic!)

Thanks

-Joe

This doesn't appear to be working with EFW 2.5.2!

I really liked this, any way to get it working again?

Sorry, but we quit using EFW shortly after this and started replacing our firewalls with pfSense. If someone wants to take the code & update it, they are free to do so.

Added this to /etc/crontab right above the ipacsum lines:

Code:
# get data for ipacsum
*/5 * * * * /usr/sbin/fetchipac

and restarted cron

Code:
/etc/init.d/fcron restart

Looks like the crontab for root lost that line during the 2.5.2 upgrade?  Does anything else use ipac-ng?

Anyone know where I can get the parts to change the wiper control on my 1995 bighorn.  I want to change it from the dash to a stalk on the steering column.  Currently the column has a single stalk for the indicators.
