Error In OpenVPN log:

Options error: --custom script fails with "/usr/local/bin/dir.d-exec /etc/openvpn/custom.client.d/": No such file or directory

(P.s. checked the configuration is correct we use TAP mode/ TCP / 1723 /) - replacing a borken Endian.

Anyone have any thoughts.

Same problem here.

Internal users can connect via Open VPN, external users get blocked and can not connect.

We had to go back to Endian version 3.0.0.

Hi,

I have solved this problem for now by commenting the 'custom "/usr/local/bin/dir.d-exec /etc/openvpn/custom.client.d/"' line in the /etc/openvpn/openvpn.conf.tmpl file.

Commenting this line in the template will result in removing the line from the written OpenVPN config files. It's needed to trigger regenerating the config files in order to remove these lines from the existing files. It's unknown for me at which point this exactly happens. I first edited the config files manually, but they were overwritten after a few minutes Smiley. Changing a parameter using the web console, will logically trigger regenerating the config file.

Good luck!

hi jaaptr,

you said that you found the line 'custom "/usr/local/bin/dir.d-exec /etc/openvpn/custom.client.d/"' line in the /etc/openvpn/openvpn.conf.tmpl file.

are you sure?

i also use the 3.0.5 beta 1 version but in openvpn.conf.tmpl file i can't find the line tha you said.

could you help me to find it?

tks
