Anyone install this yet?  Have a live installation and don't want to mess it up.

Endian Beta 3.01 is in development channel.

You need

Hi svritc_81,
Can you give us more details?

In my configuration, the only issue that I have till now after the upgrade, is in Backup Module: I had set to make automatically backup at 1 h and keep 10 archives and this morning my HDD was full. After I have deleted all unnecessary backups and I have rescheduled at 1 h and keep 2 archives still don't work properly (don't delete the archives older than 2 h). Now, I rescheduled at 1 day and 2 archives ...

Hello all,
I made the update today from 3.0 to 3.0.5 and everything is ok. My machine is in production. I have no problem at the moment. I have Endian 3.0.5 with transparent proxy (cache disabled), 2subnets, IPS on, ClamAV on, POP3 Proxy on. Machine is a old PC with Sempron 1.8Ghz, 3GB Ram DDR1, HDD -80GB and with aprox 30users.

Since my update the http proxy does not work.  I am using ldap authentication and the user and groups are populating as normal.  It shows as off on the dashboard.  Even if I get it started manually, Chrome reports that its unable to connect to proxy.  Everything else seems to be working and there is some stuff that didn't work before that is now working.  But I will have to revert to the older version as I don't want my ports 80 and 443 open.

I have trouble from yestarday with new installation.
Conclusion: clamav still make problems with proxy transparent.
I disable clamav, including proxy cache and everything works great.

I change the hardware to, now i have a dual core cpu

Hi,

After my update from 3.0 to 3.0.5 there are 2 new issues which need to get fixed since they didn’t occur in 3.0.

1.   The OpenVPN users are not anymore shown in STATUS  VPN connections. The list is empty although they are connected.
2.   The HTTP proxy Web URL filter update is not working when manually initiated.
If you issue the command: job status in Web console you can see the job urlfilterlistsu has Error Status.
However, after a reboot the URL filter list is updating from time to time, but job is still on Error Status.

Anybody can confirm this issues or have already a solution/workaround?

Ok my problem was cause by my re-using a certificate for https browsing that was created by the previous version of Endian.  So my problem was solved by creating a new certificate.

Here's one bug found.

In the HTTP Proxy create a web filter (I made one to restrict everything but web mail). Then in Access policy create the rule for some IP using that web filter and make it active.
It blocks everything, but mail - ok.
But when I turn off the access policy rule, it continues using the web filter. Even deleting the access policy rule doesnt change the behaviour.

I've just deleted the web filter profile and it still says: "Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time."  ;D
